The King’s Club at Badrutt’s Palace Hotel is the mother of all St. Moritz clubs. Many people come here to see and be seen – so it’s ideal for celebrity-spotting. Another legendary nightspot is the Sunny Bar at the Kulm Hotel: Cresta Run daredevils have been meeting here for decades. Gymnastics rings hang from the ceiling, luring particularly bold guests to demonstrate their sporting prowess with a few chin-ups.
Hotel Waldhaus am See is home to the world’s most extensive whisky bar. Expert staff will tell you everything you’ve ever wanted to know about this delicious distilled beverage. If you’re looking for a more down-to-earth vibe, head to the Stübli at Hotel Schweizerhof. With a soundtrack provided by live guitarists, this pub draws a colourful crowd.
And then there’s the Dracula Club, which has become something of an institution in St. Moritz. Founded by one of the 1970s jet set’s most colourful characters, Gunter Sachs, this club has always hosted Engadin’s most exclusive parties.

Legendary
Dracula Club
Gunter Sachs opened the world famous Dracula Club in the 1970s. In his heyday, Sachs was one of the European jet set’s most colourful characters. Today the club is presided over by his son Rolf Sachs. Then as now, the doors of this private club only open to members and their friends – and in summer to those attending the Festival da Jazz. The club’s modest size guarantees an intimate atmosphere: there’s only room for 150 people.
